I have always been a creative soul and finally, after many years thinking about it, I decided to bite the bullet and attend college as a ‘mature’ student. I was initially interested in studying Fine Art however, after investigating the options I made the decision to train as a Graphic Designer. I was lucky enough to find a course which suited me perfectly and I was able to study illustration alongside design.

While working on illustration projects, I discovered the joy of polymer clay and have been using it ever since. I originally used it to create characters for Grimm Fairy Tale illustrations and had such a positive response that I began looking for other ways to use the little figures.

I launched Artisan Cake Toppers by packed up a whole load of the little guys and dragged them off to a wedding show in 2007 and have been making Wedding Cake Toppers ever since.
