What are the Cake Toppers made from?
The Toppers are made from a non toxic, polymer clay. When ‘fired’ they are hard wearing and will last for many years.What size are the Toppers?
The Artisan Cake Toppers figures stand around 5” to 6” tall whereas the Claybabies figures are 4″ tall (10cm) on a 4″ base.When should I order my Cake Topper?
Please allow at least 4-6 weeks before your wedding and I’m happy to take orders up to 1 year in advance. It is sometimes possible to complete the job within a shorter timescale depending on how busy we are. Please contact me to check availability.What do I need to provide?
As much information as you can. Once your order is confirmed I will email you a short form to complete. A photograph of the couple, a description and photographs of the dress and grooms outfit and photos of anything else you wish included in the topper are also very helpful.When will I receive my cake topper?
I aim to send the topper to you 2 weeks before the date required. This allows for any problems with postage etc. If you require your topper earlier, please let me know when you place your order.How will my cake topper be packed?
Very carefully. Though polymer clay is strong your cake topper will be carefully packaged in tissue paper & bubble wrap before being boxed and packaged for dispatch.
How will my topper be delivered?
Your cake topper will be carefully packaged and sent, within the UK, using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Once your cake topper has been delivered to the post office, I will send you an email or text advising of this. Your topper will normally arrive next day, before 1pm, and a signature will be required on delivery.
Can you put the cake topper directly on the cake?
Yes, all materials used are non-toxic.How can I secure my topper on the cake?
The Claybabies are generally very stable as they are on a base. For the Artisan cake toppers we advise using a little bit of icing to stabilise the figures on top of your cake.
Payment & Refunds
When do I pay?
A deposit is required in order to secure your booking and a Paypal invoice will be emailed to you when I receive your order. The deposit is for 20% of the cost of your cake topper.A further balance invoice will be sent 2-4 weeks prior to your topper being made. This will include the P&P fee and full payment is required before your cake topper is made.
How do I pay?
Once I have received your order I will email you an invoice for the deposit (normally 25% of the total fee). This can be paid by cheque, bank transfer or through Paypal, which will allow you to use a debit or credit card. Once the payment is cleared your booking will be secured. The balance of the invoice will be due before I begin work on your cake topper.What happens if I wish to cancel my order?
We will provide a full refund (minus Paypal costs) if you cancel your order more than 12 weeks prior to the delivery date. If you cancel later that this we will retain any deposit but will refund any balance payments which have been made as long as the cancellation in made before we start making your cake topper.
